Reactive Overload Clutch (ROC)
The ROC is a next-generation improvement over other slip clutch technologies. While these standard technologies prevent hoist cables from snapping under gradual pressure when they exceed load limits, the ROC offers the same protection when a sudden and intense force, or shock load, occurs. It’s a significant and exclusive safety advancement from the Breeze-Eastern research and development team.
THE ROC IS INSTALLED ON MORE THAN 100 U.S. COAST GUARD H-65 DOLPHIN HELICOPTERS.
