Aircraft Cargo Winch System

The WE-2171-2 Winch is an electrically powered unit designed to retrieve
parachute static lines after a parachute drop from a paratroop carrying
aircraft. The WE-2171-2 Winch was adapted by Lockheed Aircraft Corp. for
use in the USAF Lockheed C-141 Jet Cargo Transport. The electric motor
is a reversible 400 cycle, 3 phase, 115/200 volt AC, 1.75 hp unit operating
at 11,000 rpm.
