Breeze-Eastern Corporation Model LD1028 

Breeze-Eastern Corporation's new LD1028 electromechanical actuator is designed to meet the need for a modular, light weight, high performance unit in a 1x2.8 inch miniature envelope. The LD1028 incorporates two high performance brush motors for redundancy and system safety. As the LD1028 must operate in a demanding environment and hold a critical position, the unit incorporates both a fail-safe motor brake and dynamic braking. 

The LD1028 has been designed as a modular package capable of incorporating a number of high efficiency gear ratios and screwjack combinations. The unit with the incorporation of a feedback transducer (RVDT, LVDT or potentiometer) functions as a servo.
