Breeze-Eastern Corporation's HS-29700 electric rescue hoist system was developed in the early 90's to fulfill the operational needs of light and light-medium civilian helicopters. This superior product has been successfully implemented on various utility, EMS, police, fire fighting and SAR helicopters around the world. Offered as standard equipment on the Agusta A-109K2 helicopter, the HS-29700 electric rescue hoist system series is also compatible with other well-known helicopters including the Eurocopter AS-350B3, AS355, BK-117 and Agusta A119 Koala. The HS-29700 rescue hoist system incorporates efficient, reliable planetary gearing and mechanical fail-safe brake designs, as well as state-of-the-art electric motor and control technologies. The rescue hoist electronic controller is equipped with several features aimed at improving system's operating efficiency, reliability and safety. This superior product, qualified per RTCA DO160 and certified by the RAI/ENAC, DGAC, FAA and CAA can be factory installed on new helicopters, or it can be retrofitted on existing helicopters.
